Keep it in a wooden container - they make bread boxes that you can buy in a store like Bed Bath & Beyond or Home Depot. I don't think you can make stale bread fresher, but you can make croutons out of stale bread that are delicious. Cut up the stale bread into cubes, place them on an oven tray with extra virgin olive oil, some italian seasoning, and bake in a 350 oven for about 15 minutes. Yummo.

I am very picky about bread for my sandwiches. It has to be fresh, but honestly it is only really fresh for a couple of days. I have figured out the Sunbeam brand bread seems to stay fresh the longest. I have tried Merita, Pepperidge Farms, Sara Lee, etc. Sunbeam seems to be fresher longer. I keep my bread in a breadbox on top of the refrigerator. The only other tip I can give is to make sure to check the date of the bread. Yesterday when I bought bread, most of the loaves said use by September 15th, but I dug into the back and found some that were for Sep 17th. I took the latter so that it would last longer!

In the summer to avoid mold and keep bread longer, I keep bread in the refrigerator. If it's French bread or any hard crusted breads I wrap them in foil and freeze them, for use later. They keep better this way. I do not however, freeze sandwich bread, as this usually results in freezer burn and terrible bread. Stale bread can be toasted for sandwiches or used in place of bread crumbs.

you can keep it in the fridge to keep it fresh, but as for as for making it fresher ,there is no way. once the bread goes stale(not molded) you can use it as bread crumbs.
that's what i've seen my mother do. i always keep my bread in the fridge.

keep it out of the humid heat. Keep it wrapped up in the plastic also keep it cool like in the fridge. Once its stale you cant make it fresh again. The moisture is gone making it hard.

Keep it in a plastic bag and keep it in the fridge. If it's stale you can use it for bread crumbs or toast.

If it is stale, I would just use it to make french toast or curtons. If it is fresh bread, it won't last long unless you freeze it.

The best way is to open some windows and let the outside air in. Outside of that, I don't have a clue.
