You're better off flying Southwest into Birmingham and then renting a car. Montgomery's airport is expensive to fly in and out of, and it's only 1.5 hours from Birmingham down I-65.

according to continental.com: between $448 - $867. There is a stopover in Houston. www.travelocity.com shows anything from $1000+. It's difficult to say unless you know the dates you will be going.

Go to Southwest Airlines. Naturally the time of day you're willing to leave and get to your destination matters, but so does the day you want to leave and if you're willing to catch a connecting flight. Southwest has always come through for me. $309 if you leave tomorrow.
