If you notice, everyone seems to have a different idea to so Fundamental a question. Everyone seems to have a different view. People can have different interpretations of the same book and this is the case of the Bible. Also the Bible has been passed on from one generation to the other by scripts who rewrote the book and made altercations on the way. No Original bible as such exists, the one we have now is a continuosly revised edition of the first. And the bible was not written in the presence of christ which is clear however you look at the fact. All Religions lead to the same end, heaven. As long as we have faith in our hearts, we dont have to worry about anything else.

According to the Gnostic Gospels and the book The Jesus Mysteries, Jesus was called the son of God just as any man would be called the son of god. Not because of his birth or parantage but because of his beliefs. The Jews and Romans of the time misconstrued this to mean a literal son of God. Not a figurative son of god. This was one reason the Jews sought out the crucifixion of Jesus. The Romans were under order from Pilate to crucify Jesus and so had no choice. As for the real Jesus being nailed to the cross, that too is a myth. He was actually "reborn" in the spiritual sense. Not literally. He didn't die as we are told in the bible.
One thing people have to remember, the bible was written by men approximately 30 years or more AFTER the death of Jesus. Or supposed death. And most of what they wrote was hear say. As in being spoke verbally. There were no actual written records of any crucifixion or of Jesus. It surprises me how many ppl will believe that Jesus really existed when there is no proof positive that he ever lived.
If any were to read the Osiris/dionysis mythos they would find the amazingly similar to that of Jesus Christ. Along with the virgin birth. Perhaps the term of the virgin birth means that it's the "first birth" for that woman. Not that she was a virgin when she concieved. You have to look at the Bible and Christian religion with open eyes and not follow that which the Priests of the Religion tell you to follow. I hope this makes sense. If not please email me or post another question regarding this.

He is called the Son of God because God was the father of the human Jesus of Nazareth. Mary had not been with a man and she concieved by the power of God. It is probably a translation issue but it is also the best way for us to understand the way that Jesus is created and part of God.
The original bible is written by the apostles for the New Testament (each chapter usually says who wrote it), and the Old Testament has many different authors. None of it was probably done with Jesus there, it was all posthumously. The bible has been translated many times for many different languages. Jesus was not there for the translations.

If I may, would you allow me to try and answer the questions you have asked. I am a believer in GOD.

Please note that when a person uses a proper name or in this case, to show reverence, that person must always use a capital letters to start with. In the case of GOD it is mandatory.

Your first question does not make sense to me.
What that the only difference and why? So I'll go to the next.

You asked, why Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is called the Son Of God. This answer is simple if you believe in the Word of God.

Let go to the New Testament.
Luke 22:29. Here Jesus is speaking to His disciples at the Passover Meal and He says, "And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as My Father hath appointed unto Me." Can you now see where the Son Of God comes into play.

Lets get a second witness.
Staying with Luke 22, move down to verse 42.
Here Jesus is speaking directly to His Father. " Saying, Father, if Thou be willing, remove this cup from Me: nevertheless not My will, but Thine, be done."

Notice all the capital letters used so far.

Your next question asks if Jesus Christ is mentioned in the Bible as the Son Of God. As you have read so far, the answer is, "Yes"

You go on to ask, and what does the Son of God mean?
I'm going to skip this one as its self answering.

There is one Bible, The Word of God. Thats what the word Bible means. It was written by the hands of Spirt filled children of God through the Inspiration of the Holy Spirit. And yes it was written in the Presence of Jesus Christ as Jesus Christ is God.

I hope with my heart that you can truly gain some knowledge from my answers, but you really need to get a copy of the 1611 King James Version Bible and ask God to help you understand it. I know for certain that He is earnesly waiting for you.

Step back from the literal translation!

In the beginning there was God and It was good!.
At it's most microscopic everything is pure energy - this IS God. So we are all descendants of God, small energetic particles of the whole of creation.

All that you see, hear, say, do and are, that is positive is God (high vibrating energy). When man decided that he wanted to have power for himself then man created bad (low vibrating energy).

The scriptures were written by man trying to interpret God's message! (which is an almost impossible task when writing about how to understand spirituality for people who have no concept of spirituality) The stories were written using words that are familiar to our language - the stories need not be taken literally but from an overall spiritual perspective.

Step back form the text and find the spiritual message behind the stories and you will find the truth. This is helped by daily meditation that will lift up your resonance and bring you closer to the Divine.

We are all son's and daughters of God, don't take what you have read in a bible written by man, trust in God not man's written word.
You will see lots of answers saying about what it says in the Bible, but none of them question it, it was written by man, changed by man so man could profit, not God.
To prove this point just look at how many different versions there are of Jesus, and what he done even his 12 disciples couldn't get it right. Take a look at the modern day bible read though and see the way man has used God's name to profit, and kill.

Google "Holy Trinity" and the explanation of it. God is split into three seperate entities - the father, the son, and the holy spirit - in order to overcome a lot of paradoxical situations (ie. can god create a boulder that he himself cannot lift?).

The bible as it is today was compiled well after Jesus' death, likely around the 4th or 5th century AD.

jesus was called the son of god and his desciples were called the children of god. same thing. it referred to a relationship with god.

the whole jesus as god thing came a lot later with the catholic church working in cahoots with the roman government. by that time jesus original followers were long since dead and jesus was made into god, partly to distance christianity from judaism. the romans were never crazy about the jews.

Not only the only begotten Son, But God himself. Jesus taught a lot about who he was. Read the first chapter of John. Then you will have a clearer picture of who Jesus is.

Yes, the Bible was written in the presence of Christ. God(Christ) is everywhere, and therefore was there when it was written.
