im in a hole here people and need answers! i like this girl and she likes me too. we've went out two times and i've developed strong feelings for her. she says she 'likes' me and shows commitment and honesty. well, she doesnt want anyone to know about 'us' not even her family. what do i do? is she afraid of what people will say? or does she have any feelings for me? what do i do?

it depends on the culture she's from . if she's Asian then yes there could be the strong affinity towards her family and as to how they would feel about you . maybe her parents are very strict. maybe you are the first guy in her life in terms of a love relationship .....these are questions u need to find the answers to . maybe she does love you , but she needs time to earn your trust completely . u said you've gone out twice. give this some more time . see how this goes . if you still feel she's ashamed of being with you then i guess you need to move on to someone more deserving of your love and time.

Something is not right here. She could be married or engaged. She could belong to a religious group that would not approve of you. You need some answers before you get more deeply involved. If she won't level with you, move on and don't look back. Trust your instincts. She's not being honest.

I'd move on. How would that make you feel if you can only see her in "private" ???? Something is wrong. Why isn't she sharing any other information with you about this? I know this may hurt you but time can fix that. Move on - meet new people and have fun until you meet someone who will respect you.

ive been in a relationship like that..her parents were hardcore italian straight off the boat...
GET AWAY from anything where they don't want other people to know, it only leads to troubles in the long run, even if you are happy now. If you decide to stay, be careful.

Are you guys the same race? Same age? If yes, ask her why she can't show her feelings. If she can't give a straight answer, cut the loss. There's too many females to play that game.

Usually when a boyfriend or girlfriend doesn't want you to meet their family it's because they are not planning on keeping you around for long and their not really serious about you. You can do better.

Theres a possibility that she's using ya to make someone jealous.
But thers also a possibility thats she's scared of commitment.
