There many reasons why people drink to get drunk even though it is not justified they may feel that it is because of problems that they are facing to numb their pain because they have loss a love one or loss their job and need to provide for their family and it becomes a real problem for familes when the head of the house hold began drinking to get drunk to forget that they are jobless or to forget anything that is a painful memory it is sad but some people do for those reason alone, but you do have those that want to have a good time, but don't know their limits or just plain go over their limits not caring at all just to have what they call a lot of fun, but the truth is there is no fun in drinking beyond limits because not only is it not wise it is dangerous people can become vunerable and taken advantage of, it can cause death if consumed too much of it or it can even cause a man or woman to be vurnerable to some manic that would rape them, the list can go on and on, bottom line drinking to much can cause lives to be taken or destroyed, and if anyone wants to have fun drinking is not the way to go, drinking in moderation and limitations is far better than risking you or someone elses lives THINK BEFORE YOU DRINK! Getting drunk is UNCOOL!

Getting drunk is only cool when it falls under the "breaking the rules" category. By the time you're old enough to drink legally, getting drunk isn't even remotely cool. It's way cooler to actually know about alcohol and make good choices- whether you take a wine-tasting class, learn about the history of whiskey or invent a totally great new martini. The whole "cool" part of drinking is just about sneaking around and not getting caught- by the time you're old enough to do it legally you'll figure it all out.

Well, I drink socially but I dont get so drunk that I dont remember what I did. The buzz feeling is good after a few drinks but I dont understand why people get "pissy drunk".

Yea i comprehend what you saying.... Im an same proper way. alot of human beings used to say they could no longer tell at the same time as i became inebriated.. i in simple terms began to be more effective social..... Alcohol lowers your inhibition's so u be happy to do what you pick and say what you pick because quickly you do not care what human beings imagine about you and also you do not care in case you do some thing that makes you look stupid... in simple terms save in recommendations .. in case you drink alot you too will nonetheless get very inebriated... beer doesn't stimulate you recommendations.. it in simple terms quickly numbs the component of your mind that frequently stops you from doing particular issues... alcohol is a depressant that why you experience undesirable after the alcohol wears off..... to respond to all of your questions.... you're an same human being with or with out the beer... you in undemanding words wont allow your self be the different human being until eventually your ingesting.....

Alcohol does not provide a 'reward' experience for everyone. I do not get a high from alcohol, I just get stupider the more I drink. The magnitude of the positive feedback is directly linked to the probability that a person will develop alcohol dependency.
People who have a great deal of happiness from alcohol tend to miss out on the rewards of life, children, work, socializing without alcohol...all ""dull, boring, boring, boring...think I'll go have a drink...""

I don't get it either. The buzz is a good feeling, but most responsible drinkers will stop when they start to get the buzz. Most people will drink a lot of water to keep from forgetting and getting sick.

Getting sick the next morning is so not worth it.

It is not cool. It is a rite of passage. A way of learning what your limits are and that being drunk is not fun.

It is not helped by a society that makes alcohol a forbidden pleasure associated with adulthood. No wonder new drinkers binge.

It's not cool. When someone has to get drunk all the time and get hangovers and sick and can't remember, they are trying to forget their lives and poor choices they have made.

Getting drunk isn't cool.
but I think people drink together to relax and open up.
Like when you drink you laugh more and say silly things. Just a way too have fun.
But it's not really cool. I hate too see people get drunk and act dumb.....
