It's dog blood and blood from any healthy dog is OK for transfusion.

Dogs can give blood without ill effect just like people.

Some owners of large dogs, in particular, have their dogs registered with their Vets or local Veterinary Hospital as donors in case of an emergency.

Dogs blood grouping is really weird; they use dogs blood and they can use blood from any dog; but your dog can only have one donation from each dog donor, the second donation from the same dog sets off a reaction.

Most clinics have adonor dog that they keep just for that purpose to donate blood if needed.
It is dogs blood and taken from donor dogs.
Some clinics keep a list of people who will bring a dog in for a donation if the clinic needs it.

it is donated dog blood. Usually from large breeds. You can register your dog as a donor in your local area in case of emegencies etc, but it works very much like human blood donors. If your dog is healthy and of a medium or large breed think about making it a donor as it saves doggies lives.

They use donated real blood from other dogs. In fact, some veterinary hospitals and universities have blood drives for this purpose.
