Burnt a clean ISO image of Winxp Pro to a dvdr one track one session.. however at boot time my puter will just overlook the disc. in bios i have set it to booting offa cd before all else including the internal hdd. what can i do? should i just front a dollar for a cdr and try that? did my burning software ROXIO just not burn the image correctly or something. i know the image works i know that roxio has extracted the image correctly.

You need to make the CD a bootable disk. Make sure it is still set to boot the CD rom drive before it boots anything else. You might need to start in MS Prompt mode and just manually initialize setup.
Im assuming youre trying to make a restore disk with your operating system?
