Oopsy. Are you in the UK? 3 points and a fine. Probably about £60.

A fat azz ticket...20 mph over the posted speed limit in Florida gets us tickets for AT LEAST $140.00, 4 hours in that boring driving school and points on our license. Unless the cop is in a good mood that day and adjusts the amount of the ticket and writes you down as speeding maybe only 10 mph over the limit.

Depending on what state, a fine. I had to pay a $218 ticket for going 97 in a 70 in Alabama.

In most U.S. states going 20 miles over the limit or more is considered reckless driving, a criminal charge (misdemeanor). Expect to pay a hefty fine, or seek the advice of a lawyer. Since it was so little over 90 mph you could plead for mercy that you weren't paying attention to your speedometer, or you could plead speedometer error. Good luck either way.

Was it on a speed camera or a traffic police man. 3 points and a fine generally. If you do over one hundred you normally get a court appearance!

In many states 20 over the limit is wreckless driving. Most fines are posted on the back of the ticket.

In the UK ------- 3pts and a £60 fine - if you accept the charge.
Possible 5pts+ & £500 fine if you go to court (depending in income).
Over 100mph & depending on which area you get caught in & you are talking a court appearance, a possible 12 month ban and being made to take your test again.
