My dog has been sick for a week and won't eat. We give her, her normal food, treats, other things she likes but end up having to force feed her peanut butter (which the vet reccomended to give her). The vet said to feed her cheese and other things but she just wont eat. Help?

Sounds like your dog needs to go back to the vet. If it has been a week, and you are having to force feed her people food she is very sick indeed. For your dog's sake you should at least call your vet & talk to him/her and make him/her aware that you are unable to get your dog to eat. Or you may want to try a different vet.

They make a paste stuff called Nutri Cal for dogs who are sick it is a suppliment or can be used as a complete food replacement. You may have to have your vet give her a shot to stimualt her appetite. They can give setroids to do just that.
I would not be beeding a lot of people food just a very high quality dog food. Something from the vet maybe. Until she gets to feeling better she may not have much appetite so make the most out of what you can get her to eat and don't feed junk.

Why is she sick? After a week of no eating, it might be time for a stay at the vet and IV nourishment. She's obviously feeling VERY bad if she won't eat canned food, meat, "treats", etc. Try to keep away from a lot of "people food" (things that aren't normally included in regular dog food) as that's likely to upset her digestive tract.

Baby food is good too. Heat it up in the microwave for 5 - 10 seconds. Get the plain meat kind. (I think it is stage 2) Turkey seems to go over well.
