I HAVE kids and I know you aren't crazy. I think it is totally an individual choice. Kids aren't easy and they are not for everyone.
Some people flat out don't like kids or would rather have a different sort of lifestyle that kids might not fit into. Nothing wrong with any of it.
Don't let your family or friends pester you about it. It isn't any of their business.

No not crazy! Could be for a million reasons, when I was younger had no interest in them at all. The simple fact that they cost a lot of money and just the thought of getting them out of your body scared me silly! Not to mention I had two little brothers that were terrors and drove me not to ever want a child...lol but now I have a great career and have a 5 month old and couldn't change that for the world!

I absolutely don't think you are crazy! I haven't ever wanted children (since I hit puberty). I let my husband understand I was serious before we even started dating. We are VERY happy with the decision to have dogs instead of kids.
In fact, I'm from the Pacific North West, and frankly, most of the people we were friends with didn't want kids either. I think it's a geographical trend (mostly the West Coast and Northeast) for the young professional generation.
I tend to think those people who reproduce are crazy, gregarious and doing it for the wrong reasons (not all, but the majority).

I have two children, both unplanned, and both very much loved. :) I've always wanted to have children. I don't think you're crazy...some women (and men too!) just don't want kids...plain and simple. Not sure if they're lacking the maternal instinct, or if they're barren/sterile and trying to convince themselves that they don't want kids, or, like me...how I feel about dogs...I like dogs to the point that I like to play with other people's dogs, but that's it...once I go home, they stay with their owners and I don't have to deal with the drool, bad breath, shedding fur, cleaning up poop. Hey...this sounds an awful lot like kids. LOL
But no, it's normal for some people to not want kids...you're not crazy. :)

No, you're not crazy. My fiance never wanted kids until I got pregnant. Once he felt his baby kick, it's all that he could think of. He's glad we have our kids now. They are both daddies girls. I on the other hand, have ALWAYS wanted kids and I want to have many kids. It's your choice not to have children and no one should judge you for it

One of my best friends said she never wanted kids or to ever get married. Then one day she met the ONE and she got married and had a baby girl who is 6 months now. I never thought bad of her before or for the fact that she changed she mind. It is your life and you need to be happy with your choices and actions.

No, my best friend doesn't want to ever have children. She wants to get married some day. She said she was happy being the ever doting Aunt.

Having children is an individual choice. Of course, there are many women who do not want children, however, many young people do change their mind when they are older.
This is why is it un-wise to make surgical decisions regarding fertility, when you are young.

I want kids but I don't think your crazy. Lots of people don't want kids and if you don't want them, don't have them :)
