By definition if a war is "never-ending" then it can't possibly be won. Or lost for that matter. Simple logic dictates this conclusion.

You can win, because at the end of the day, no matter how many lives have been lost, know that the world is a better, safer place to live in because there is one less terrorist group in the world. Are you just saying we should stop, let the world be taken over by these yayhoos who want ot blow themselves and you to pieces? Are you saying we should let freedom slip from our grasp because we can never get rid of all the terrorists. Freedom has never been free. It wasn't in 1776 and it isn't now.

Just look at the war on drugs and the war on terror. Both will be continually fought until after I am dead and gone.

really? there is no ending war. especially in life itself no matter what war u talking bout. u can never ending war, but if are talking about ending war in discussions on agreeing and disagreeing well u have to talk about it. if the issue can't be solve than let that subject go and don't come up with that subject again. hope my answer helps.

You will never know if a war is never ending unless it ends...what facts do you have that says the war will be never ending? Even if we didn't win the war, we won the battle!

It can't be won, just like the war on drugs, all we can do is fight to keep it in check, and help other nations become strong enough to fight that same war as well
