I've read some articles lately on hard plastic bottles and the dangers of them releasing chemicals when microwaved. I had packed away our Avent plastic bottles for our next child, too, am thinking about throwing them away and buying safer ones when the next baby comes along. I don't want to toss the plastic into the landfills either, but if it could be dangerous for my baby, that's the way it goes. Try reading up on it, the articles I read were from recent issues of "Parenting" magazine and "Parents" magazine.

beckmcc80 said it all. And therein lies the source of a generation without character, expecting everything easy and handed to them.
But I truly didn't know their parents TEACH them to "get over". You should be ashamed of yourself but sadly you probably consider yourself a "good parent". Wise up before it's too late.
P.S What is she saving them for: so that coke can send matching funds to cancer research? alzheimers? music programs in school?
Or is she just trying to amass "cool stuff" to show off to her "friends"
I'll bet its the latter not the former.
