I'm helping a friend plan her Aspen wedding (we live in Houston, TX) and we are having a terrible time finding people to help plan her Aspen wedding. More specifically, she desperately needs a wedding coordinator in Aspen or who knows the area well enough to manage the wedding for her. Looking online has not turned up anyone.
Any ideas on how to find such a person?

Start looking at hotels with banquet space. Their sales and catering staff will be a wealth of local information. And having done weddings themselves will know the reputations of the local vendors. Hope this helps, and tell your friend congratulations!

Have you been to the theknot.com ? Good site. They can help you out with vendors, and if you don't want the ones they have posted, the ones they refer you to can usually tell you where else to go.
