That's tough. Been there. Still going through it. I dont want to eat, or do anything normal. I just want to sleep, yet once I do that for a few hours, I"m so wide awake and thinking too much that I can't get back to sleep, which is the only place I can seem to block out the pain.
My advice, is what I'm trying to do. Do your normal everyday routine. Push yourself to do it. Then, gradually, do other things to fill your time that you can get your mind off of things. Go to the library, visit a friend, etc. Occupy your mind as much as possible. when you are alone and it's quiet and your thinking, give yourself time to cry. It's ok to do that. let it out.
I cried so hard on Sunday morning, when I was alone, my body was sore like I ran a marathon, but I needed to cry and let it out.
If talking about it helps, try that. If you have no one to talk to, my email is littleangelgirl615@yahoo.com. I would be there for you.
Feel better!

During times like this people seem to do their best to make themselves feel comfort in the present rather than looking at what's best for them over all. Chances are whoever broke your heart needs to be left in the past and you need to get over them. That means being strong and letting it hurt for a while. The pain is often a necessary part of the process you have to go through to be happy again someday. Face it bravely.

From a guy. Take your time and find yourself. Women generally upgrade to a better man after the prior relationship is over. Be true to yourself and make yourself more marketable. You'll find new friends and new hobbies. Don't give up on yourself, your were doing fine before you met him, and you'll do better without him. We've all been there at one time or another.

You will get over them, in time. Meanwhile, you should focus on you and pamper yourself. Do some cleaning out of the closets, both mental and physical. Then, every time you think about that person do some exercise. You will tire yourself out, so you won't lay in bed trying to sleep thinking about them and get into better shape. Everyone goes through these break-ups it's what makes us human.

You have to let your heart heal and it will take some time. Don't do the cliche of throwing all pictures and everything of his away, because you will become bitter and angry and never get well. Enjoy the times you had. Write down every feeling that you have every day and soon, you will see that it gets better each day. Don't date until your journal tells you that you have healed. You will just get hurt again.....

Chocolate! Get a pint of Ben & Jerry's Chunky Monkey or Cherry Garcia and pig out while watching a comedy. It will help put things in perspective.

Go out with friends, get your mind off of your pain. Do things to keep you busy. In no time, the pain will start to ease and you will start feeling better.
