I think your newspaper made that up 2000 years after Jesus was alive. There are people who wrote about Jesus's life who lived with him and followed him around everywhere. They are eyewitness reporters. You can find their reports about Jesus in the bible, in the New Testament. Matthew, Mark, Luke and John wrote gospels about him - a gospel is a short story about Jesus that tells the message of why he was born and why he lived. Luke was a historian who researched and interviewed people everywhere about all of their experiences with Jesus.
None of these people mention Jesus being married or having a child. It is lunacy to think that they could have missed somehting that huge about Jesus's life.

* One evening paper in my country published it that Jesus Christ had a daughter, what do you think about that?
More Mess! the Paper is about selling copies more than integrity.
any sensational story will do and why not ride the coat tails of the "Davinci Code" Hoopla.
this is a sign of the Times...... anything Goes except the truth.
seems the world just does not appreciate truth its no longer the "Sexy" thing.

What kind of mess would the world's religions wind up in, if they could actually prove it? It's really easy to make unprovable claims. Start with Christ's resurection! Is his the only whole body in heaven? If they knew at such an early age that he was God's son, how come nobody was paying attention to where he dissapeared to for 20+ years? Angelina Jolie's kids get better coverage!
This whold daughter thing is a spinoff of the DaVinci Code. Just food for thought!

This speculation has existed for years. There is no way of knowing. I believe that people on both sides of the argument use subjects like this just to be divisive. What if Jesus really was married to Mary Magdalene and had children? Does this invalidate his teaching?
In my opinion, it doesn't matter. In Jesus, you find someone offering real life-changing teaching. However, we generally would rather debate his personal life or the infallibility of the Bible rather than focus on what these teachings can actually do for us. My advice is to read for yourself, decide for yourself, but focus not on the personal details but on if Jesus' teaching has any application to your life and if it can help you be the best you can be.

Well, did they show any proof for that claim? Probably not.
The Bible isn't too trustable either. A Christian did a research project to see how many of its verses came from Jesus himself, and he found one.
Christianity is the religion of St. Paul, not Jesus, technically.

It's a legend some believe and others don't. I don't think the data exist to prove conclusively that Jesus of Nazareth existed himself, let alone that he had offspring. If he did exist, it's entirely within the realm of possibility that he had a child, but I wouldn't believe it on the strength of a legend that developed long after he would have died.

Jesus was without sin. No one knows all the details of Jesus’ life. But it is not a sin to marry and have children. I think it is possible and if so, it does not contradict the Bible or the meaning of Jesus.

FIRST OF ALL, LET ME SAY ONE THING THE BIBLE NEVER IN THE NEVERS SAID THAT IT WAS BAD FOR A MAN TO MARRY A WOMAN!!!!!!!!!! IT ACTUALLY ENCOURAGES MEN TO ACTUALLY GET MARRIED AND HAVE CHILDREN TO THOSE RELIGIOUS PASTORS THAT DON'T GET MARRIED AND HAVE CHILDREN WHY DO YOU THINK THERE ARE SO MANY RAPES!!! NOW, I DON'T THINK IT'S TRUE THAT HE HAD A CHILD. I BELIEVE THAT'S SOMETHING SOME GUY CAME UP WITH BECAUSE HE DIDN'T HAVE ENOUGH TIME IN HIS HANDS AND DECIDED TO LOOK TOO DEEP INTO JESUS' LIFE. BUT IF IT WERE TRUE DOES IT MATTER THAT HE HAD A CHILD? WHY DON'T PEOPLE CONCENTRATE ON THE FACT THAT THEIR CHILDREN ARE OUT AND ABOUT IN THE STREETS AND THAT THEIR HUSBANDS AND WIVES NEED ATTENTION AND THAT MEN NEED TO BE RESPONSIBLE FATHERS AS TO WOMEN!!! AND THAT WE ALL HAVE TO UNITE TO GET VIOLENCE OUT OF OUR COMMUNITIES!!!! AND THAT WE SHOULD AT LEAST GIVE ONE RANDOM SMILE TO SOMEONE IN THE STREET BECAUSE SMILES ARE CONTAGIOUS THAT'S SOMETHING THAT WE SHOULD PUT OUR ENERGY AND EFFORTS INTO NOT INTO IF JESUS HAD A KID OR NOT!!! MY GOSH!!!

We dont know anymore than they do about Jesus being married. I hope he was just to prove a lot of idiots wrong, but there is no real proof. Just like the bible has true and untrue scripture. I guess we will have to die to find out!!!!!

There is no data to support it. If the "National Inquirer" in my country printed it, it would have no meaning either. They also run pictures of Big Foot and the Aliens that have recently landed from other planets.
