Two pieces of bread, two pieces of cheese. Butter the outside of the pieces of bread, put the cheese in the middle. Turn the fire on under the pan (spray pam, or any cooking spray in the pan) put the sandwich in it. Turn over after 1st side is golden brown, repeat with the other side. You may want to keep the fire pretty low, otherwise the bread will toast and the cheese will not melt very well.

you will need two slices of bread, cheese of your choice (sliced to fit the bread), butter or margarine, and a frying pan.
put the frying pan on the stove on medium low heat.
take the bread and very lightly butter one side of both pieces. place the cheese (american or cheddar are great) on one of the pieces of bread on the BUTTERED side (the cheese should touch the butter). now place the other piece of bread on the cheese, buttered side toward the cheese.
now both pieces of the bread should be dry on the outside, buttered on the inside where the cheese is. now gently butter one side of the sandwich and place face down on the pan, trying not to smush the sandwich. let the buttered side fry until golden brown, approximately 3 minutes. remember to have the pan on medium low heat - this allows the cheese to melt before the bread gets burned.
when the first side is the desired color, remove from the pan. put a small pat of butter in the pan and place the other side of the sandwich down in the pan. allow it to fry to desired color, and check to make sure the cheese has melted.
remove from the pan and cut into triangles. yum. and it's pretty good served with campbell's tomato soup for dipping.

Put whatever kind of cheese you like between bread. Maybe add tomato or onions or something. Then butter the outside of the bread. Cook on griddle at medium heat for a few minutes a side. Check it to make sure it's not cooking too fast from time to time.

I like two slices of bread, buttered on one side, heat a non-stick skillet around medium-hot, place slice of bread buttered side down, add cheese of choice, place slice of bread buttered side up, allow to toast to desired crispness (about 45 seconds - one minute), flip and toast. If you have difficultly melting cheese you can cover the skillet, just be sure to remove before the sandwich is completely done otherwise it could get soggy.

Take two slices of bread and butter them both on one side.
Place one slice of bread butter side down in either a frying pan or griddle, then place two slices of cheese on top of bread and finally the last slice of bread butter side up on top of cheese. Cook on med-high heat until bread is golden brown and cheese melted. These go great with Tomato soup.

Put cheese in between bed and grill it under the griller or lightly butter a pan and put sandwich in and turn when done. Watch it so it doesn't burn.

You take to pieces of bread some butter and a peice of cheese.
First Take a peice of bread, put butter on one side of the bread. Put the bread on the pan that is over the stove, on the buttered side. Then take your peice of cheese, and put it on top of the piece of bread. Then put butter on the other piece of bread and put it on the bread with cheese on it, with the buttered side faced up. Once the bottom of the bread is golden brown, flip the sandwich over, and once that side of the bread is golden brown, you have yourself and grilled cheese sandwich. :)
