To make sure my baby girl has the happiest childhood possible and gets the chance to go to college and attain all her dreams. To put it simply she is my entire purpose in life and it's funny to look back now at how I thought my life was all about me till the first time I felt those tiny flutters of movement inside me then, I know longer existed it was all about that child inside me.

To make the best use of the time I have. To me, making the best use means taking care of my family; being a good citizen; living a virtuous life; working to make my community (and, as much as I can, my country and the world) a better place for those living now and those who are yet to be born; and exploring, developing, and following my personal interests in order to enjoy my stay on planet Earth.

I don't believe in an afterlife, but I observe that one's actions often outlive the doer. I hope I leave behind a legacy of service to humankind and inspire friends and family to try to live useful, examined lives, too.

Of all the dying people i have held the hands of, i have only known one who didnt feel they had wasted their time.

Ive also never held the hand of any dying person who didnt admit that God was true, and they werent ashamed to meet him having wasted the life he gave them. And that coming from avid non believers.

My purpose is children.

to winnow

to scatter husks so that the chaff may be seperated

in doing this it is neccessary to not focus on the bad; but, the good...to truly winnow

indeed my purpose will be enough at death
to look back prayerfully and to see the effort I put forth to look for the good in everyone

do i do this? No. am i putting forth the effort? not as much as i should....winnow

scattereth
the chaff

hold on to what is fine
