i love my dog soo much and i'm his favorite person in the family. he sleeps with me and does everything with me. problem is: his other best friend is my cat. they absolutely love each other!! my cat loooooooves my mom tho and sleeps with her and does everything with her. so when i move out, do u think that my dog would be happier with my mom and my cat and my dad, or with me? i can't take both, because my mom loves my cat too much.
(she loves my dog too, but knos that he likes me the best. :-)

You should take your dog! The dog may be friends with the cat, but human companionship with you is more important to a dog. And if you're planning on getting him a playmate, its perfect!

It depends on whether you have the space, financial resources and time to take care of the dog. It sounds like your dog will be alright if you move out. You are staying nearby? Please remember that dogs can be expensive. Will you be able to afford an emergency vet visit if he gets hit by a car, or gets into something that he shouldn't have? His annual vet check-up? How old is he? Is he in good health? Does your new place take pets?
I would lean toward leaving him at your parents place and going to visit him. Pets have an important bond between each other and with your mom and dad both there, at least there will be more people there to care for him. Maybe at least until you get settled.

It depends on if you move somewhere that allows animals and it's someplace you're going to be for a long period of time. Animals take a while to adjust to new surroundings, so if you're leaving for college or renting an apartment for a year, you really shouldn't take either one with you.

If you have the extra time to devote to your dog and your mom doesn't then you should take the dog. If you won't have much time to spend with the dog and your mom ahs more time, then she should keep it. Dogs do adapt pretty easily.

You should leave him with your mom and dad, that way hes not a burden to your new lifestyle and doesn't cause him the stress of moving into an unfamiliar and lonely environment

If the dog is more than a year old no questions asked you should take him with you .
He can even get sick if you leave him.

you dog might get very depressed from leaving his best friend, however, i thinkyou should take him with you and perhaps get a kitten...dogs are really good about "new" pets

of course you should. The dog might miss the cat but he'd miss you more because you are his owner
