It is true, humans didnt come from monkeys, we came from Apes. We are just 1 branch of the bipedal evolution that started over 250 million years ago when we were simple bacteria not needing oxygen. This is a fact!

1) Learn what evolution is. Evolutionists do not believe we came from monkeys, but rather a common ancestor of the monkey. K? Example: Species A starts to have a mutation. Some offspring are Species B and some are Species C. Humans are B, monkeys are C, our ancestors are A. Humans =/= Monkeys
2) Because a book says something does not make it true. I could potentially write down that a jelly-filled donut is the All Knowing Creator of the universe. That wouldn't make it any more true than anything else.
3) We have scientific evidence to support the evolution theory. It's called carbon dating. I suggest you research it.

Man kind has been trying to deny God from the very Fall of Man.
If Evolutionist were not blinded by pride then they could no longer argue "relativity" or "natural selection" towards everything. Funny thing though they discard this theory when it comes to, so called scientific proof and the scientific laws that disagree with theories. Evolution is only a theory! it can not and has yet to be proved even by scientific standards. oh, Evolutionist will argue single points here and there. the theories change in response to scientific data that disproves their theory. the Theory of Evolution does not hold together. evolution undoes itself. Do not forget that Science is the study of Creation..... again, it is funny to see those who deny God study his Handy-Work. they still can't explain it or how it works.......
it boils down to one thing Pride. man does not understand fully. instead of getting the answers from the one who put it all together. they continue to argue with any one who disagrees with their perception.

Want to know what's too simple to get? It seems to be FAR too simple for you creationist liars to understand that Humans did NOT "come from monkeys" that is a creationist fantasy.
We are primates, just like monkeys, chimps and apes. We all share a common ancestor.
Evolution isn't an "ism" either. It is scientific fact. Ask any biologist with a REAL degree. (people like "Dr." Ken Hovind don't count as they bought thier degrees from a diploma mill. They have no more foundation in biology or science than you do.) and they will tell you that evolution IS biology.
I've added a VERY simple website that should answer your questions. Though I doubt very much that you'll have the intellectual capacity to understand it, I feel it's my duty to try and help someone as incredibly ignorant as yourself.

They get it...its the alternative they don't want. What is left for them if they don't have evolution to believe in? What is the only other alternative? God! And that means that if their truly is a God, and the Bible is true, you can't go on living your life the way you want. The Evolution theory is just that, a theory, and a poor one at that. It has never been proved other than micro-evolution within species. It contradicts the unbreakable laws of the universe. It is not science, it is religion, because with all the evidence against it, you have to have faith to believe in it.
Because of the complexity found in even the "simplest" cell, many scientists now believe in Intelligent Design, because the odds are astronomical against it, that it just developed from primordial soup! True evolutionists believe we came from a rock, and that is where the evolution theory belongs...under one.
Googly, by saying you want unbiased answers, not religious answers, you are in effect saying that only science or other secular sources are unbiased and that's a bias on your part! There is a ton of great science in the world, evolution is not one of them...read Darwin's black box.

I have yet to see proof to the contrary. Feel free to send me any, as long as it is from an unbiased source, meaning, NOT a Religious one.
Science is not biased and can be shown(key word there)to be true, beyond reasonable(another key word)doubt.
The ONLY refute on the theory of Evolution is from religious sources, which have their own reasons to disprove it, far from the truth. Show me, for example, scientific PROOF to refute Carbon 14? Can you? I'd love to see you try...
Do you REALLY think Scientists don't try everything to DISPROVE their hypothesis first, to save becoming a laughing stock and losing their careers? I truly wonder if you have actually researched Evolution yourself, or have you just relied on what you have been told?

Pamela J - On the contrary, the strength Science has over religion is that if it is proven(key word!) wrong, it admits it and is constantly attempting to disprove ITSELF(as that is the ONLY way to strengthen a Theory or Hypothesis, as even the most basic fact can never be truly 100%)Wheras any religious source has its OWN agenda at heart by design, so would be unable to give an acurate, unbiased comment. The amount of xtian sites I have read saying they have PROOF but not actually giving anything but speculation is enormous! That, to me, is a LIE, hence, an untrustworthy source!

Evolution, its a theroy on a theroy on a theroy. Why arent Apes still evolving. Just one did, or two? When science has uncovered ALL the questions of the universe, then and ONLY then can it all be fact.
Wouldnt evolutionists crap themselves if in 100 years there is some scientific fact yet uncovered that makes all the previous evolution therois an impossiblity?

OK all of you bible-banging crazies, here is the definition of the word THEORY:
A comprehensive explanation of a given set of data that has been repeatedly confirmed by observation and experimentation and has gained general acceptance within the scientific community but has not yet been decisively proven.
It is not just a bunch of hullabaloo that someone made up-- it is something that is confirmed again and again and again.
Oh and if you have a problem believing that humans are related to apes, you'll might shoot yourself when you learn that human and chimpanzee DNA are between 97.3% and 98.8% the same. Yikes.

It's only simple as you put it if you close your mind. Our DNA is very close to that of a pig as well as a monkey! Do you realize that the internal organs of a pig are very similar to ours? Also, when you look back at early man, with the sweeping forehead and arched back, do you not see any resemblance to our simian friends? Or is your mind too closed up with fairy tales instead?
