No Fathers and Daughters can't be soul mates. The fathers soul mate would be his age. That daughter has a soul mate out there somewhere. And it's not her dad. That is just wrong and not how God intended it to be.

No. But they can be so close as to mistake their relationship for that. Especially the daughter, and especially if she's young and naive.
