Depends on what kind of computer you are working on. But I know for a Mac there is a program called Toast. You can go to like a CompUSA and ask the person that works with Mac what would be camparible for a PC. Hope it helps.

There are no programs that can improve the qualities of your movie files, you will just need to download another copy in better quality. Improving the quality of a movie would be like creating water out of nowhere (matter cannot be created or destroyed), that goes the same for data. However you can decrease the quality if you like :P

There are programs that can improve the quality of movies you download. For example I use a program called AVI2DVD. Avi2dvd takes an .avi file and rerenders it to almost dvd quality. It then takes all the .vob and .bup files etc. and makes an ISO image out of them to be transferred to DVD. Check out www.svcdhelp.com for info on converting dvds with this software.

As I know there isn't 'cause downloaded movies have several sizes.
If you want them to look better download big sized-movies.
The bigger the better.
