Soul mate: The Bible speaks of it a lot - as man is a triune being - meaning he/she consists of spirit, soul and body.
So if a person has sex with someone then they are in the physical realm, when a person ties emotionally with someone then that is a sole tie.... this is where the Soul mate comes from, it is the modern name of soul tie if you like. What does it mean: It means when a soul (where the emotions, thoughts and feelings live) tie with someone else’s, gender does not mater, it could even be mother daughter, father son, brothers, best of friends, mates etc... Why is that?? Because they have come to a strong agreement on feelings, emotions, and thoughts that are so familiar and alike that they think alike, love the same things and finish each others sentences. Soul mates are very much "mates in the soul realm". This is what best of mates are made of. There are stories in the Bible about soul mates like Jonathan and David (no they were not gay) they were friends willing to die for what they believed. Anyway hope this will clear what misconceptions people have about Soul mates.
