If you want it real cheap, you could always buy a perm kit from a shop like sally

Take care

Although I may not be answering your question. I felt I had to interject with my two cents. Hair and cheap should never go in the same sentence!!! First of all I am against any and ALL chemical straightening. That stuff WILL dry out and damage your hair overtime. But I do understand that for some working women it is the only way. Still, I believe if you cannot have this stuff done by a professional, you should not do it. You will be applying ammonia based products to your hair!!! Why risk the the stuff you cherish so dearly (YOUR HAIR) by being cheap. Save up some money and go to a salon. In the meantim get a hai, chi,or maxiglide straightner. These ceramic irons are FANTASTIC and won't permanately damage your hair.

If you want to straighten it use a relaxer (not perm). I like Optimum or Olive Oil. Part hair into four section & apply the relaxer to each section, starting with the middle (area w/ most new growth). Once all hair in covered use your fingers or the back of a comb & smooth down the hair. All this should take about 15min. Once finish rinse hair with warm water & then wash with a neurtalizing shampoo (if you buy a relaxer kit, the shampoo is included). Wash hair about 3 times until all the relaxer is out. Add a conditioner, rinse it out & then style hair as usual. You have to wait 2 weeks before you add color.
Good Luck!

Well I'm Euro_hunk's sis. And i get my hair permed straight every now and then. But HairClip's Does it for the cheapest amount of money. But they don't do such a good job. My cousins hair is falling out because of Hair clips products. So its better if you go to a place that isn't to cheep.

For cheap permed hair go to the local beauty college! They usually have atleast one day a week where the students perform services (hair cuts/perms). Find one in your area and call them to see what day(s) they offer services and what servies they offer and how much they charge.

I've used over the counter straighteners before and they do work ok. You could try a local beauty supply store, like Sally Beauty Supply. They can also give you advice on what product would be best for your hair type.
