I think you fail to understand the "once saved" part and jump to the always saved. To be saved once, you must repent. That means turning away from what you want to do and turn toward God and his will. If you do that then not only will you be saved, but saved for all eternity.
So, tell me what does it take to lose your salvation?

once saved always saved is not exactly going to get you in heaven. You have to repent for your sins. It is not a ticket to do anything you want. You have to walk with God and if you are doing so, you wouldn't be doing bad things. If you are saved and back-slide and don't live according to God and then down the road start going to church again and repent for your sins and start living right, then you don't have to get saved again, you just re-dedicate your life.
God help you if you are saved and don't live accordingly and just think you will get into heaven. You better repent and start living for Jesus again. If you died tomorrow- you have to take responsibility for your actions and sins against God. You may not get into heaven if you hadn't repented before you died.

Once you are saved, you are always saved, but it doesn't mean you can do whatever you want. It entirely depends on "whatever I want" means. You still should follow rules set out by the bible for being a good Christian. I guess if you want to do whatever you want then you should be allowed to, but if it feels wrong, then I wouldn't.

That's because:
1. You do not understand the whole of salvation
2. Do not have salvation
3. Forget that you will have to answer to Christ for what you did with your salvation
Salvation is a work of God done by the Spirit accomplished by Christ. Salvation is not just a heavenly state it is a day by day turning from sin and living a holy life which is proof of our salvation. When we die we will answer Christ's question "I saved you how did you respond to this gift?"

Yes, you are right. The Bible does not teach automatic salvation.John 3:36-"He that exercises faith in the Son has everlasting life,he that disobeys the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains upon him."
Matt.24:13-"He that endures to the end will be saved"

They could read the Bible all they want to, they won't change their mind. Most people believe whatever they want to. They pick their own truth instead of trusting in what the Bible says is true.

How many times do you have to be saved to be saved?????
You're in a sin nature sinful state so it would be every second of your life.
God doesn't write your name in the book of life in pencil and erase it every time you screw up (sin). It's written in with the blood of Jesus. Permanent. Jesus will not pluck you from His hand. Eternal life is eternal, not temporary until you commit your next sin. We're all sinners and will be until we get to heaven.

I think that's the silliest thing I've ever heard. Accepting the Lord into your life is important but you must continue a relationship with him. I think its very important to continue your life walking the Christian walk.
