Wow...thanks Jay....hehehe...Imagine that...The car salesman who answered your question says to buy the warranty. Could it be that your salesman wants to make a 40% commission selling the 'car repair insurance plan'

Dont buy the insurance. Take the insurance money and put it away into a Money Market account. IF something BIG happens, use that money to pay for the repair. Any little things that break are usually not covered anyway.

Yes the High tech parts are expensive. However, they are also very reliable.

Save your money. You are already writing a big check to pay cash for this truck. Just save the warranty money yourself. you will be ahead in the long run. Good Luck!

If you plan on keeping the car for a while, then YES. Just make sure it's a full coverage warranty from GM, not an outside company. It's hard to say how much you should pay, as I have no idea how many miles are on the truck you are buying. But I have many years of experience in the automotive arena, warranties are worth their weight in gold.

no.. not worth it.. if anything goes wrong with it, it will probably be something that is not covered. Dealers offer extended warranties to make money.

Dont get it. Your better off, and you will save money.

nope. the extended waranty ussaly only covers major things that should not (will not) go bad on your car. if you want the extra coverage, go for it, but you don't need it.

good choice on a nex truck! they are very reliable!
