That was pretty humorous!

The thing about the debate of creation and evolution that some fail to see is that creation is based on FAITH, while evolution is based on THEORY, not fact. That is why it is called the evolutionary theory. However, people place more into evolution for a few reasons.

See faith is based on a feeling of something that is not measurable in scientific terms. Theory however is based on actual testing. The testing is done over and over and over and over until there is such a tiny possibility that it is inaccurate that is can almost be called fact. Its basically like circumstantial evidence. Faith has absolutely none except the words of its believers.

Therefore, the theory is much more valid then the faith of religion. Besides, it makes no sense whatsoever that one religion is better then another when there are entire populations in the world that still praise the Sun God or Earth God or Fire God and yet some people still insist that those people will go to a figurative hell due to ignorance. The bible is a nice story. Why some of you place so much reality into it is truly beyond me.

I don't really take your post seriously, or anything, but it does remind me of my own genealogical research. I have found out that I am very possibly descended from Henry II of England. I once decided to look at some family trees for the British royal family, so that I could see who my other ancestors were. Believe it or not, one family tree traced my lineage all the way back to Jesus Christ and Mary Magdalene. Sometimes, when you do genealogical research, you have to take some of your findings with a grain of salt, because some of it is merely legend or hearsay.

Miss, it's just a creation story. People all over the world have their own creation story. Not one better or more true than the other
Think about it, early homo sapiens are just emerging as a unique species. Their brains are so much larger than other animals because they use this large brain to make tools, think about the relationship of past and future events, and problem solve like no other animal can. The homo sapien brain is superb at thinking abstractly. Without fang, claws, speed, tremenous strength, good night vision, excellent sense of smell, excellent hearing, or a thick hide this is how they survived. On cunning and inginuity alone. The ones who didn't have enough smarts did not survive and pass on their genes; their genetic line was insuffient to survive and died out. The ones that did have the smarts were able to pass those genes and those techniques to to their offsping. This happens over thousands of generation and alters the gene pool of a group of individual life forms. Our primate ancestors did it too, but so far we have done it the best at problem solving. That is a very simplified description of human evolution, and probably not very good, but it's a basic way of looking at it.
Soon after, probably even before there were languages as we even remotely know them today, these people questioned their existance and where they came from and why they are so different from the other animals. As languages developed people were able to commicate complex and abstract idea to one another. What do humans love to do, especially when they don't have answers? They make up stories. With our ability to think abstractly we have an amazing imagination.
What you read in sacred texts are stories. Although it's not likely they are verbatim true (and actually they're not, according to anyone who knows how to anaylize texts and religious scholars of all faiths agree that the texts of religions are not the unaltered word of god by one author) but these texts often provide you with a good guide to live your life and how to treat other people.
That is the most important thing you should be getting from your religious reading. (You are reading it for yourself and making your own interpretations right? You can't just take everyone elses word for it without reading for yourself.)
You have to ask yourself, does your religion or you faith really hinge on the adam and eve creation story being actually true? Or can you possible get the moral of the story and be happy with that?
Religion is there to supply you with spiritual fullfilment, not answer the question of how things in the Universe work.
Science tries to answer of questions of how the Universe works with observable data. 99% of religons don't do that, leaders of religions ignore tangable data to seek spiritual answers. Science in no way even attempts to give you spitual fulfillment or moral guidelines. (FYI, many highly educated people are religious and have no conflicts with religion. Just because life evolves doesn't mean there is no god, maybe that's the way he/she makes life, nor doesn't it interfer with the morality of your religion. The individuals who wrote sacred texts, even if god was speaking with them, could only write in terms they could understand in their time; thousands of years ago.)
There is a false conflict here. They are both at their roots trying to answer fundamentally different questions.

And we are all not the surfer types...I am glad you found your family...but you don't have to share your views with the rest of us. You might go back to school and learn grammar, spelling, punctuation etc. Then try again, you will get more positive views on your opinions if you can at least write like an intelligent person. You are totally boring.

That's like how all Thoroughbreds can trace their roots back to one of three Arabians - the Godolphin Arabian, the Darley Arabian, and the Bryerly(sp?) Turk.

Other than that....what's your question now?

So your great-grandparents were Adam and Eve? How many thousands of years old does that make you? You need an education.
