U can delete the search history on ur yahoo toolbar this way. click the arrow in the search box. Select options, click clear history.
U can delete the history of yahoo search bar on its homepage by following this path. Tools> internet options> content> auto complete> clear forms. To stop the generation of history uncheck the box of forms.
To delete address bar history, follow this path. Tools> internet options> general > clear history > set the number of days to zero> ok. It will solve ur search related problems.

If you want to clear searches from the Yahoo! Toolbar:
1. Click the pencil icon on the Yahoo! Toolbar (it's between the big red Y and the search box).
2. Depending on the version of the Toolbar you have, select "Clear Recent Searches" or "Clear Search History."
