You could try telling someone you trust, and then call them everytime you have an urge. Tell them not to let you off the phone unless they are convinced that they have changed your mind. Also, confess it to them everytime that you do watch porn. Convince yourself why porn is bad, and tell them to remind you about it. This should help.
Another tip is to never allow yourself to be alone with a computer...ever. If you are in a situation where you are home alone, find an activity that will keep you busy. Go to a friend's house or workout or something. As long as it keeps you busy enough so that you don't have time to give into temptation, it is a good idea.
If you are a Christian, pray about it, and always remember that the longer you go without porn, the easier it will be.

How to avoid porn addiction on the Internet
1. Consider installing porn content filtering software( Strongly Recommend NetDog ,you can get it from www.netdogsoft.com ) on your computer. it will help to protect you from stumbling into pornography by accident, That's important.
2. Do not try to guess what the address of a Web page is. Many pornographic sites have similar addresses of respectable sites. For example www . whitehouse . com is a porn site. The real address is www. whitehouse . gov
3. Never click on Web site addresses that you receive in an unsolicited email.
4. Do not open attachments that come in email that are unsolicited.
5. Use filtered search engines or reputable directories to find the information you need.
6. Do not search for terms like girls. Think before you enter a search term.
Stick with reputable sites.
If something looks questionable, don't let curiosity get the best of you. Delete it or close the window.

It doesn't matter if you have a girl friend or not, liking porn is not a crime,i like porn to,sex is a natural part of life and believe it or not there is alot of women who like porn also so maybe one day you will find a woman who feels the same way you do and you wont feel as bad about being addicted to porn.At least you are not out buying hookers or doing stuff that would hurt some one or put you in jail as long as you are not pushing your addiction on other people i don't see anything wrong with being addicted to porn.

Get some spritual guidence first and see a professional counsellor and be very proud that you want to get some help. Dont' be hard on yourself. There are worse people out there. Believe me, better now then never. Girlfriends will come with your confidence rebuilt. They can sense male insecurity. Plus just try to stop watching porn..willpower. go to the gym or find a craft.. but no looking for prostitutes!!!! ok write back if any thing. take care

Relax pal, addiction to porn is not necessarily an insurmountable character flaw. If it bothers you, then quit. If not, don't worry about it. If porn was not universally popular, there wouldn't be any.
I would suggest, however, that you need to invest some time in socialization. Get out more and meet other people. If not, you will wake up one day and wonder where your life has gone.
Meanwhile, enjoy your porn and don't be so hard on yourself.

You and a lot of us.
Get over yourself, it's no big deal.
Calm down. Unless it's getting you in trouble, or taking up a huge amount of time, it's not even a problem.
You are not helpless. You have the power to change your behavior.

enjoy your porn, it beats taking drugs or commiting crimes. so go beat yourself off and dont worry about others or what they think of you, you are very normal. in fact if you did not like porn that would really be strange.
