here's an honest answer with no sarcasm:
See a stylist and make them explain in detail what type of haircare products you should use for your hairtype. Also watch them and listen to the methods they use as they are styling you. Most hairdressers are happy for you to learn along while they fix you up so that you will represent them well when someone asks who does your hair?

See, I'm not such a bad person and I'm sure you're not either.

make sure you use professional hair products...it really does make a world of difference. experiement and see what workds best for you. and when you get your hair cut, go to a real salon, not a cheap place. again, that makes a huge difference. and they will help you learn the little tricks (it goes along with paying them 50 bucks for a haircut) like how to blowdry, what product to use, etc.

I get a head ache when I put my hair up, so most of the time I put some mousse and leave it curly and it looks great.

Sometimes the simple it looks the better don't break your head trying to look like models, be yourself and let your style be your signature.

Buy a curling iron and create some curls within your layers. It does not take a long time and it looks very nice and presentable.

well fixing your hair depends on everything: the clothing style you wear, the shape of your head ect. you should see a hair dresser who can help you out withstyle choices based on that

I would ask the person who cuts your hair like at Fantastic Sam's, Cost Cutters, any salon that you go to would be able to answer you!
