It's sad to hear people swear and to know that is is more the rule than the exception anymore. It makes a person look unintellegent, and without creativity.
My grandfather was a man who had his temper, but never cussed. Then one day, someone did something and he said that one word, it had alot more power to it. That is my outlook on all cuss words; if you use them all the time they lose their significance or power, but if you reserve the use of them for that whole other level of your frustration they have a little more impact.

I breathe a sigh of relief. People who use the "F" word in conversation are merely angry; but when you have to type the "F" word it shows:

Immaturity
Inability to deal with emotions
Lack of regard for people
Lack of respect
Small vocabulary
Limited creativity

It just means that I'm dealing with an ignoramus.

I am much more annoyed by lazy people that put on the caps lock and can't use the shift key properly. That's extremely annoying. People can say f_ck all they want. It's just a word.

My 21 one year old daughter is always saying F$#@*&G this and F@#*%^G that and it just really gets my goat. It is embarrassing to me when a stranger just blurts it out. Among friends it is one thing, but publicly, it makes me want to wash their mouths out with soap. I put my daughter on ignore until she can clean up her mouth. She can't come over or call until she can do it without using that word in particular.

The "F" word is just another word...it's people that have made it vulgar...I think ALL words are just words (including ALL "cuss-words)...it's how the people use it...if they use it in a negative way...then they didn't need to type it at all, because they are just being wise asses!...but if *F*U*C*K* is used in an everyday way...like I just did...then it's just ANOTHER word...don't be so be so offended by it...

a word is a word.

poor quality spelling and constant capitalisation seem to me far more potent methods of disrespecting a reader.

I find it offensive. I think that intelligent people could find other words to use to emphasize their points. I agree with you, if you couldn't say that word to your Grandma, don't use it. It just isn't polite.

I agree with the people who say typing in all caps is worse because typing in all caps is SHOUTING.

the f-word shows more maturity than typing almost entirely in caps.
