i'd like for the packaging to be clear so you can see what's in it, and to also be non-constricting so they don't get messed up.

thanks

wrap each cupcake individually with cellophane (not plastic wrap) with the extra at the top then with a ribbon tie the two cupcakes together. This is attractive and eye catching and easy to grab. Also the buyer can eat one now without opening both.

If you can go to grocery or package stores and find cardboard boxes they no longer need, you're in luck. Cut a rectangle of cardboard out that is long and wide enough for two cupcakes to sit side by side. YOu can use cellophane wrap (it's available at Walmart/target in the gift wrap area. Cut a large square and place the cupcake board and cakes on it. wrap up the cellophane and tie with some cheap curly ribbon. See through, and wrapped, but the cupcakes can'tfall. It worked great for my little girls' scout troop. Good luck!

Here ya go...make a bottom for the cupcakes that's the length of the two of them together. Make it out of any kind of cardboard such as a cut up cereal box, packing box, anything. If it's got writing on it, cover it with parchment or wax paper, or even foil. Then wrap some celophane around the two cupcakes. BUT...BEFORE you do that, spray the inside of the celophane with a thin layer of cooking spray! Then refrigerate. This should keep all of the icing on the tops of your cupcakes!

Depending on how many you want to couple and sell, why not go to the local Dollar Store and get some cheap containers. They are 4 or 6 for a buck. Set them in there.

Go to a floral supply store and buy clea, cellophane "corsage bags." They usually come w/ a piece of gold or silver cardboard, or you may have to buy that separately. Slip the cardboard inside, fluff open the bag, gently place cupcakes in, then staple or tape shut.

If you put two of them inside cellophane (sp) and wrap it so you knot it at the top, they won't get messed up..
