I do not necessarily believe that someone needs to listen to my sins for them to be absolved. The only way to absolve my sins is for the Lord to do it himself. It is my belief that he can do that with out the middle man. God and I have a pretty good relationship and if he came tonight I would welcome him. The last time I stepped foot into a church it was to say goodbye to my grandmother 6 months ago. But I still have no worry about where I stand with the Lord. He made me me for a reason and if he wanted me to be doing something else with my life or living my life a different way I have a feeling I would have been lead down a different path. Church just isn't for everyone. It doesn't fit into everyone's life, but God does. Its like the quote from the Colour Purple - "I think it pisses God off if you walk by th color purple in a field somewhere and don't notice it." As long as I continue to talk to Him and let Him know I love Him, I think we'll be OK. :)

No. No one can know the hour when our Lord will return. That is why we are to be ever watchful. And, per scripture,
Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much. James 5:16
I do not see any thing abt a confessional I need no mediator save the Lord Jesus Christ. "For There is one God, and one mediator between God and Man, the man Jesus Christ.

no. if u were living ur life the way God wanted u to live all along, than u would kick back and relax. a saint once was asked "if God was to come right know, what would u do?" he answered "i would sit down and read the paper" knowing that u lived ur life the way God wanted u to live it is the means of being a true catholic or christain or what ever other religion believes in God.

No, I don't think I need to confess my sins to another person. I have a personal relationship with God and cofessing my sins and asking for forgiveness from Him is sufficient.
