the 330 was designed to run on 87 octane,and perform well using it,dont get suckered in to paying more for gas thinking your gonna gain a mile or two out of it,cause you wont gain anything,,,keeping it tuned well will be your best option,as for gas,,in some cases i have heard my customer,s say they get better mileage on 87 octane,,but ever one has an opinion,as far as my experience,i use 87,,and get good result,s with it,,so do my customer,s,hope this help,s some.

Lexus recommends premium fuel for all of it vehicles for best performance. However, you can run mid-grade (89). But 91 and 93 are still the best for this vehicle.

I recommend you call a Lexus dealership and speak with someone in the service department on this issue. Make sure you get your straight answers from a Lexus Certified Mechanic.

87 octane

Use the premium gas because your car will run much cleaner. I have an IS 250, use premium and get 24-25 city mpg.

91 octane if you want maximum mpg
