What do you do when you are going out with someone and you know it goinf to rain and you ask them if they want an umbrella or are going to bring one and they say they don't need one. So you go out with your umbrella and it starts raining and you end up sharing it with the other person and you both get wet because one umbrella isn't much use to 2 people when its' raining hard. Do you let the person get wet because they chose not to take and umbrella or do you get wet sharing one? I really don't want to carry two umbrellas around.

You get wet sharing one. It's stupid when you think about it, but at least you're trying to do a nice thing. Besides, since you're both getting wet anyway, might as well have fun with it, ditch the umbrella altogether and just play in the rain....when was the last time you did that?

Well, you share the umbrella with the person and you say "I knew it was going to rain, that's why I asked you to get your umbrella" and smile. The person will take the hint and next will bring the umbrella.

If it bothers you that much to have to get wet trying to share one umbrella, I wouldn't mind carrying an extra one. Especially if you know you will need it, and the other person won't bring one.

You're supposed to make out with the person under the umbrella.

Next time it is expected to rain....tell your friend "don't forget your umbrella this time, last time we were soaked" .... but, if she still fails to bring one, then share. A few raindrops isn't worth the argument with a good friend.
