okay well i told my wife she needs to get a job, she has been a stay at home mom since my three year old was born, we have a 18 month old too. she also watches her 5 yearold neice. i make good money but half goes to our bills eachmonth. we would have more money if she worked to do more things. we don't need the money but it would be nice. i make 75g a year. am i wrong to want her to work even though we dont need the money?

You should compare the costs of gas and daycare with how much she could make getting a job. Is she a professional? If she can't get a real job then she likely won't really make enough to make up for daycare costs. Mabey a part time job a few afternoons/evenings per week might be better. Once the kids are in school she could look for something better.

What the hell do you think she's doing now??? Sitting on her butt with two kids and another 5 yr. old neice??? Motherhood is a 24/7 job and you're being very selfish if you don't absolutely need the money. It will take everything she can make to keep the kids in daycare and herself in professional outfits and gasoline. Not to mention the fact that she's doing a great service to you and your children by being THERE for them. What is your problem with that???? What do you want to buy that is worth the happiness of your children, not to mention the stress you are causing in your family at the moment. What is it , a boat? A new car? Hey...if you want someone to work, get yourself a second job for your toys and let your children enjoy being home with mom. Do you happen to think it's a party being home with kids?? NO>>>It is not! Keep them at home for a week, you doing all the things she does full time and you will back off of your selfishness. In 5 years, those kids will be in school and she will be free to do whatever SHE wants. What a prickk!

no, but that's a lot to do remember that's her job, maybe a part-time job for her, running a household is hard-work!
