It all depends The more you weigh the more calories you burn per session. I am 5'8 and weigh about 145 I burn 600 cals in 30 minutes at level 7 on an eliptical. Hiit training is a great form of cardio also which burns many calories in a short time frame. You can find lots of info on that by searching for "Hiit cardio" Good Luck

I burn about 120 cals for every 10 mins on the running machine.
So that would/could be up to 600 cals.

I believe that's directly proportional to your weight, ie the heavier you are, the more energy you burn. Which is great if you need to lose lots of calories!
