She is a smart girl, comfortable with herself, and not wiling to lie to make you feel better. You should respect and appreciate that. Now you know that when she does say "I love you" she means it. You should feel lucky to have one of the rare girls that are not obsessive and drunk with the need for love.

Woah, you can never ask someone if they love you, unless they have said it plenty of times on their own. And don't pressure them to say it by saying it yourself over and over. If you do either of those you will make her feel awkward, uncomfortable and pressured which will result in you not getting a truthful answer. And you might scare her off and you'll never be able to give her a full chance to love you. Women need to work at their own pace, and sometimes it takes a long time for them to realize how they feel.
So, here's my advice. Tell her you love her, followed immediately with a kiss. When the kiss is over she may say she loves you too. But most importantly she can choose to say nothing and kiss you more, or say something else. See, you provided a way out for her. I don't know how old you are, I'm 28, and it may not make sense to you, but she needs a way out if she chooses to aviod the "I love you" situation. And if she doesn't say it back, don't say it anymore. I promise you'll blow the whole thing if you keep telling her you love her or ask her if she loves you. Calm down, give her time and space. sounds like she doesn't love you... or at least that she isn't to the same point in the relationship that you are. try not to push her, but definitely keep the communication open - if you are wanting more from the relationship than she does then you might need to take a few steps back.
