There are some excellent wines made in Greece, increasingly from international varieties such as Shiraz, but they have their own super varieties that you should look out for. Especially Agiorgitiko (red), Xynomavro (red) and Robolo (white).

If you like very sweet wines, Mavrodaphne is a red sweetie.

If you are on the islands, try the locally made Retsina sold in pint sized beer bottles closed with a crown cap. They are crisply dry fresh white wines with a tang of resin. I just love the stuff and it goes well with the oily Greek food.

I'd ask for locally made wines as because many are made and very few are exported it may be your only chance.

I'm sure you'll have a great time.

I have been in Greece and on Crete.
There is a local type of wine called "retsina," that has resin in it (made from pine I think) that the Greeks drink, and I liked, that you will either love or hate.
I like Metaxa Seven Star, a fortified wine.
I also liked the liquer ouzo. I have heard that this may have poppy seeds, and may set off a drug test. It has an anise taste.
Raqi is a very strong clear liqour that the Greeks drink.
"Kalimera" is good morning, "kalispera" is good evening,
"neh" is yes, "oshi" is no

If you are planning to go to wineries themselves, try:

Domaine Dereskos S.A. (Athens)
Domaine Hatzimichalis (North Kifissia) - Central Greece
Domaine Porto Carras S.A. (Sithonia, Chalkdiki) - Northern Greece
Domaine Spiropolous (Tripoli, Arcadia) - Central Greece
Gaia Winery (Maroussi) - Santorini
Katogi & Strofilia S.A. (Athens)

If you're just looking for good tasting Greek wines, but aren't actually going to make it to the wineries, look for these winery names and you won't go wrong.

Mavrodaphne - go for that one, if you like red wine. but this one is not exactly a dry one, it's somewhere between dry and sweet. VERY YUMMY!

I don't know a specific brand name, but I've always enjoyed retsina. It's tasty.
