A new state building has a round area of grass in front of the building that is surrounded by a driveway to the front door with three flag poles located on the grass in the middle of this yard. The poles are arraigned in a "U" shape or "V" shape manner. As you approach the building the center pole is closest to the street while the other two are set back a few yards. We would like to have the American, State and County Flags flying. What is the proper order to fly these flags?
Thanks for any and all help

The national flag should always have the place of honor, in this case in the center. Tradition holds that the center pole should be taller than the others, even in this formation. The state flag should be to the national flag's right (viewer left), and the county flag to its left (viewer right). Also, the flags should always be illuminated, either by sunlight or artificial lighting.

As a person views the flags from the front of the bldg. , the United States flag goes on the left side, then the State flag in the center and the County flag on the right. This is the same order that is used when the flag is on display in a parade.

I believe the US flag goes in the center, closest to the road, the state flag goes on its right, and the county flag to the left. But iam only positive about the country flag in center.
