I've been told by some, that calling the next day shows the woman that the man is too eager and comes off needy. While at the same time, I've also heard that waiting a day or two shows some women that a man is uninterested.

forget what you've heard, and go with what you feel....There a times when a friendly "Hi how ya doin'" call the next day is fine. Other times, it is better to wait...it all depends on the energy you are picking up on during your date...and whether or not you want to pursue it anyway

A next day call is not at all inappropriate. It doesn't have to be anything lengthy or too serious but to let the person you are calling know you enjoyed the date and would like to see them again (assuming that is true). You needn't even make next-date plans then if you don't want to, but can call back in a few days and set another date.

Do what you feel is right...if you like her call her the next day to thank her for a great night and possibly setup another date.

If a date is going well you should make plans to hang out again during the first date. That damn movie 'Swingers' has made men paranoid.
