The Bible says that God created man in his own image. You need to use your own judgement on what God is really like. The Main point of Faith, no matter what your religious denomination is the Golden Rule... "Do unto others as you have them do unto you." PERIOD It doesnt take a Pope, Rabbi, Preacher, Preist to know that you should be kind to all creatures.

What is "perfect"?
We don't have to be perfect to get into heaven, but we do have to be clean.
Does that make sense? I think it does.
We don't have to be "perfect" -- whatever that is -- but we do have to be in a clean spiritual state. After all, the Book of Revelation tells us that nothing unclean shall enter Heaven.
This means accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior -- and that includes continuing to live in His grace until our time is up here on earth.
Why would God make us if we're not good enough for Him? Because He loves us, despite our many imperfections that we inherited from the first people.
And though we're not "perfect" -- again, whatever that means -- we certainly have what it takes to enter Heaven after we die and be in union with God forever.
Receiving eternal life in Heaven is hardly impossible -- all we have to do is believe, and live our lives accordingly.

It's not the imperfection that keeps us out of Heaven, it's sin. Sin is an imperfection, but specifically it is a breaking of a relationship.
Thank of it this way - you have a fight with a friend and you are no longer allowed in your friend's house. You want to return, but first you have to make amends.
God is a demanding friend, and the way that you hurt Him through sin was so terrible that only death can repay it. Jesus died for our sins so that we might know the Father, that we might enter His House (Heaven).
There's a question as to whether we can enter with any sins on our conscience or whether a time of cleansing/perfection/purification is in order. I think that there is this period, alluded to in Phillippians, "that He may complete this good work begun in you unto the day of Christ."

God did not make us imperfect. In the garden when God finished creating He looked and saw that it was good. Adam and Eve disobeyed God and ate from the tree of "knowledge of good and evil" therefore sin entered in and thus man has become imperfect. I beleive that man becoming imperfect was no surprise to God, I beleive he knew this and still created man because, He wanted man to love Him of his free will and not because He created them that way. In knowing that, man would sin even before creation ; he had a plan and, the plan was Jesus Christ.God cannot tolerate sin, He cannot look at it because He is so Holy that sin cannot stand in his presence.Jesus, came and died for us took our sins upon himself so that if we accept his gift we will be able to stand in God's presence and be as sinfree as God. So, heaven is only a place you can go to after being made perfect by Christ through his shed blood on the cross. In order to make it to heaven you must believe in your heart that Christ died for you his blood was shed for you and, he died and is coming again for all who believe.

An excellent question and one that opens up a discussion about perfection. Specifically, that perfection CANNOT create imperfection. Ghod(tm) is perfect, christians tell us this ad-nauseum. But it's creation (the earth and everything on it) is imperfect. So we have a conundrum. Perfection cannot create imperfection yet here we are. Leading us to one and one conclusion only; that there can be no ghod(tm).

He did make us perfect, and in fact, he made the world perfect, but with freedom. And Adam and Eve chose to sin, so they let sin into the world. And to tell you the truth, we are lucky to even get to go to heaven. God sent His only son because he LOVED us. That's why you need to accept Jesus into your life.

That's exactly what I always trying to say: We didn't gave God the chance to finish the job, and came on our time which is very tedious.
The spiritual world was going to be much better, no hardship. We will pass our 100 years or a little bit more, in everyday conflicts and confusions.

NOBODY is not good enough for God. God gives us free will so we can choose Him. How can He love us if He forces us to love Him? Only by us choosing to love Him (and God does include Jesus) can we get into heaven.
So, all of us, through free will, can get into heaven. Only when we choose not to be with him on Earth does that continue in the afterlife.

He made us perfect initially remember, it's because Adam and Even choose to sin that's why we are living in sin now - he didn't make us this way that is why John 3:16 he sent His only son to die for us to redeem us and he is now preparing a place for us to live where there is no sin. All we have to do is believe on him and accept his sacrifice and follow him.

He is not looking for perfection. He just wants you to have a relationship with Him. So many people especially in church are to religious these days. He does want you to be religious, He wants you to have a relationship with Him. Pray to Him, turn to Him for your needs because He wants to bless you. All God wants is to know that He is #1 in your life, not your job, husband, wife, or money. The Bible says that He is a jealous God. He just wants you to know Him and Him to get to show how much He really does love you.
