It depends what kind of colour you want. It you want to lighten your hair or have highlights I would recommend going to the salon and having it done professionally as it is a lot harder to lighten with a kit at home than it is to darken.

Loreal dyes are good and so are the John Frieda ones. Just go for the best you can afford! Hope I helped :)

Hello,

I use to work for a Salon, and it is best if it is done there. But if you are talking about self kits, i would have to say they differ, since they offer different things

Herbal essence is one of the best, becaasue it uses natural ingredients, which dosent harm your hair as much as Loreal or clairol.

Loreal and clairol are great but for how long, you have to keep on using a colour shampoo and conditioner if you stop the shine goes away and it loks dull

Take care

all hair coloring products are good, but depends on hair nature color, thickness, and so on. so time you need to go to Salon to color your hair with professional. sometime you need oxygen or anything, but you have to be ready to pay a lot of cash. so use Loreal or herbal products would do the job for now. good luck.

In my many years of coloring my hair, I like Herbal Essences the best. It smells the best, out of any of them. Garnier is good too.
