cafe con leche (that is espresso with milk), pan criollo (that is like Spanish, Italian or French bread), pan de mallorca (sweet bread from Mallorca), anything made with filo dough or puff pastry like eclairs, very strong espresso with raw sugar...
for lunch I have to say white rice, habichuelas guisadas (stewed beans), two fried eggs over easy, fried ripe plantains and avocado slices...
for dinner my list is endless. chicken fricasse, bacalao a la vizcaina, chillo con mojo isleno, etc etc...
dessert would be flan de queso or crema catalana
My country is Puerto Rico and its cuisine is a mixture of many cultures, mainly Spanish, African and Taino

If someone asked me whats my last wish before I die, I would ask for a generous serving of a mutton biryani.
Its a typical hyderbadi dish from India.
Hyderabadi Biryani is one of the popular forms of Biryani which has its origins in the Nizam's State of Hyderabad, India. Hyderabadi Biryani is very popular for its balance of spice and exquisite taste.
The method of cooking Hyderabadi Biryani is known as "Kacchi Akhni" (with raw gravy), in which the meat, marinade and rice are layered raw and cooked only by the 'dum', or the baking process. This is a challenging process as it requires meticulously measured time and heat to avoid overcooking or undercooking the meat.

I have a few favorites, with pasta being the number one followed by Volpi Italian salami, so yes it speaks to my heritage. My other would be grandma's homemade noodles which she taught me how to make. I'm also Native American, but I overdid the Indian taco thing (taco meat and all the toppings on fry bread) and can't stand them any more. I avoid tacos at all cost in fact!

Danish Apple Cake. Not really a cake at all but layers of gram cracker crumbs that have been toasted in butter, sweetened applesauce and whipped cream. You can add crushed/chopped nuts if you like.
