our bodies are made up of what we actually eat. same can be said about our minds too. our minds are what we believe.
Have you heard the old irish proverb ' if horses had gods those gods would look like horses'
the gods of our religions not only look and sound like humans, they even issue decrees the way human dictators do.
am i right?

There is one God who created everything, so the same God that created the horse created you and me whether or not you believe it. God is not a dictator, or else there would be no sin and you wouldn't have a choice to not worship him or to follow his commandments would you? He is a loving and caring God and he gives everyone freedom of choice.

i dont know if i agree with your premise that our minds are what we believe, they are also made up of what we know and what we can imagine...and yeah, heaven forbid we follow "treat others as youd like to be treated" - what a horrible decree from a dictator. i wish more people would follow that decree
