I am definitely like you--more spiritual. I was raised in a conservative Christian religion (some might say radical) and I had enough of the rules and rituals. It is now about me and my relationship with Jesus. That is the focus and driving force of my life. I am not perfect and don't profess to be, but I also don't need a bunch of subjective rules to be saved. We are saved by faith alone.

If you are more spiritual you should be following what Jesus has said and done then, especially his Ten Commandments since he said if you love me you will keep my commandments. The issue is not religion or spirituality the issue is if you love him and believe in him then follow him. In following him however, you will find others who are following what he says in the Bible and thus it will point you to the true religion of this day and age since all through the ages in the Bible to now God always has a people who practice one religious belief which always coincides with the Bible.

Religion doesnt always have to do with the living God, Father of Jacob, Issac, and Jesus. There are many religions out there, if you have a personal relationship with Jesus the Son of the Living God, then you are an adopted heir to the throne and should rejoice and tell others. God bless you and keep you. Ephesians 5:15-16.

I am a born-again Christian and no I am not religious. True Christianity is a relationship between man and God and requires no middleman like manmade religions do. So to answer your question, I am more spiritual in the Holy Spirit of God.

I am more spiritual than religious..
Religion is just a bunch of rules that man follow like in denominations.
Since we live under grace and Jesus fullfilled those laws we need to live as Jesus lived.

More spiritual. I think religion has almost perverted the messages in the Bible, at least my experience with it. MANY of thew pastors and prechers I have found focus so much on the bad, and their religious ideals, such as what to wear or how to act. They ignore much of what Jesus taught. Myself, I believe in the Bible, I believe in Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit. Thats my guide, where my belief is focused.

Religion is an action. You can brush your teeth religiously, you can follow the rules religiously. It is more a regimen and a discipline.
Spirituality comes from within. You can have the peace that passes all understanding. It is totally an act of your will. I choose to believe!!
