Because not everyone is called to the same truths. Free will and we all have to respect each other's beliefs and the right of someone to choose their true religion or spiritual beliefs. Not all are called to the same table, but should be welcomed if they desire it or walk away if they choose as well

What's to fear? Religion gives many comfort but simply because someone believes something doesn't make it true. It's all mythology but easier to lean that way than take life at face value and deal with it head on. That's where the real fear is.
