Shh! Yes, I know what the bible says. Read it from front to back, not really wanting to know any verses and junk. I just want what you people think, I am not saying I believe this. I just find it interesting. So, with that said.
The Duality of Good and Evil has always been closely attached, like two sides of the same coin. For God to gain power, he would need a rival. Someone to tempt the sinners into betraying God's will, his divine laws and what not. So of course, right when he was needed Lucifer was caste down from Heaven. Did God give him another chance? No, his judgment was final enough to banish Lucifer in hell. Even though God's love was suppose to be infinite and merciful, in which he did not show mercy to Lucifer. So in turn, as God himself gave life to everything then Lucifer too is part of God. And only doing his duty, in which God gains just as much from the fall from Grace that Lucifer took. Look how many people follow him now, the fear of Satan and sin universal.

Yes, yes... I am just saying it all works out for God, rather conveniently is all. Sounds to me like he could have planned it out himself, as he did create Lucifer. So how would he not know the Angel had it in him to do such a thing? God is all and knows all, sounds sort of like it was a set up to me... lol...

God's love is real and actually I read where is mercy is long suffering. I thought about the same thing but then I heard on Bible Answers live with Doug Batchelor something close to it. It basically opened my mind to the fact that if Satan was able to spread is lies to 1/3 of the angels in Heaven he must have had enough time to repent and God knew he was doing this and still gave him room to repent but he just got worst and worst. It was even stated in a book I read that God was pleading with him to change but he stuck with is pride even though God was pleading with him to do right. Lucifer was made by God and apart of God but God did not create sin - the possibility was always there since everything he created had the freedom of choice. That's the key, choice, every being has the choice to follow God or not and thus it seems like God created sin but all He did was created choice and it is sad that some of his created beings choose to not follow him.

God made Lucifer his favorite creation, They where in heaven, Lucifer did not want human to be made, and told God they would sin if they had a chance to( Where the tree was placed in Eden)
. WEll Lucifer got upset God made Adam and Eve anyway. (either Lucifer lusted of Eve) or ( he decieved several angels in heaven to take his side) and they where cast out of heaven.
Will in short Lucifer Satan, got pissed off even more, lost his place in heaven. While Lucifer told God that Adam and Eve would sin if they had a chance and God put the Tree in middle of the Garden of Eden.
Satan decieved Eve and then Eve did Adam. So see Lucifer went against God in heaven, and then come down to earth and went against God creation of humans..
This is my understanding, I can't be sure, Again take the bible and read it yourself. I have also read the bible, been to several differant branches of Christian Churches, and this is pretty much My own understanding...
I am human and could be wrong in some area's or all...

Lucifer, Satan, The Devil or whatever else you prefer to call him was one of "GOD'S" greatest angels. In fact he/she was the right hand person God would turn to, until God was betrayed. When God banished Lucifer to hell, Lucifer was then given the same powers as God, he could create or take life. Lucifer then decided that he/she would become the voice of temptation, evil and wrong doing. That is the choice that he/she has made.
I personally look into the stories told by the bible as a way of giving us an example of choices that we need to make in our own lives. We could decide to do good or we could do bad. We just need to look at what pathway we want our lives to go.
I am reminded by my daughters christian videos "veggie tales" that she watches. One of the videos talks about forgiveness and how many times God will forgive us. In it, it quoates the bible...and it says that God will forgive us "seven times seven hundred seventy-seven."
Needless to say, if God will forgive us that many time, then I am sure he did the same for Lucifer.

No, lucifer is doing what he is surpose to do and all the weaklings that fall for satans mess perish with him. this is nothing but a test of loyalty. God whats to see who has tanted hearts, who is wicked. this is his way of separating the wolves from the sheep, then of course the day of judgement. if you look at it like this; if you have strawberries and 2 or 3 start to mildew and the others in the bunch is fine you will remove the mildewed one because it spread meaning this is the testing ground we all be tested right know as we live our lives, we have to prove ourselve worthy of living, in the new land of peace after the day of judgement.he is not going to let 2 or 3 tanted one threw in the system they can affect the other ones so he is letting show there selves in this system.

no they are not the same being..if you have powers do want to have a rival, the one that wll get it all, your popurality and power?
why do you need a rival if you are the most powerful. He did not show mercy to lucifer because lucifer also wants to become the most powerful, whom people will praise and obey.lucifer was an former angel whom God created, who betrayed God just for the Power that God has.

no. Satan was a good angel gone bad because he wanted what God had. He couldn't he turned against God, but Satan is not the "other half" of God.There are many wicked things opposing God, but then there are many good things, so both even out, but both are not from the same God, just the good, but God does allow this for awhile before destroying the wickedness.

Yes, they are. It was Lucifer who invented religions, and communicated to humans. God just waits for the end of time.

Yes, if God is One and all, this means he consists of everything that exists. Therefore, if Satan exists, then he and God are one, or God would not be one. If God created everything, and everything that is created is a part of God, then God is part of the devil, like Yin and Yang.

Interesting but I think that Satan like all of us was created, so he isn't the other side of God. I don't know exactly why God created him but God is more wise than me.

Well that would certainly explain why the god of the old testament is such a jerk and trying to have so many people die and get sacrificed and be his little byatch.
