It does not take an historian to see the handwriting on the wall. As one already answered, we don't need to be afraid but prepared.
World War III is a guarantee. The only question is when. Preparation would include moving out of the major cities as they would be rat traps if one waits till something happens - thousands of people would panic, traffic would pile up and only a few hundred would get out.
Put back water and buy Potable Water Pills (at any Walmart sports department or most sporting good stores). Can goods keep a little while, especially Spam.., which while some may not like Spam, its better than starving. Just be sure to rotate the canned foods based on expiration dates. Rice and Honey are also something you need as well as a 12 pack of Disposable lighters to use Sparingly as you need them.
BIBLE! Most important to have over any book because believe it or not, the Bible predicted America's destruction - it just did not say, "America" or "USA". America is the spiritual Prostitute mentioned in the book of Revelation.., whereby America is the only one in the world that the majority of the world wants to burn with fire (nukes and other weapons of war).
The Bible will lead people to salvation and protection - but thats up to those who will accept it.

We've been 28 minutes away from a nuclear war since the Cuban Missile crisis. The present tensions aren't even to close those times. It only takes 28 minutes for an ICBM to reach continental US from Russia or China(our only real threats for a nuclear holocaust). The major powers still abide by the MAD doctrine and tensions aren't as high as they've been. N. Korea can barely lift off a 3 stage rocket, let alone target US cities. The mid-east conflagaration can only escalate into a world war by accidental attribution of missiles.

While I am not a Historian, I must agree with you. We have a president that is in love with war and I believe that the next world war is going to begin sooner than people want/think that one is. There is simply too much tension between the various countries and Bush needs to pull our troops out of Iraq!!

If a conflict does ensue, it is going to probable be yet another chilly conflict, Neither the U.S. nor Russia truly need to flow to conflict with the different. If it does ensue it wont be a conflict for territory this is undesirable, with the aid of fact then their would be no longer something yet bombings. whether the U.S. government needs to admit it or no longer there are 4 worldwide powers interior the present situations. those contain the U.S. , Russia, China, and India, and the U.S. is in a great decline and there is no sign of a resurgence in prosperity. China and India have signed a treaty pointing out that neither will replace into damaging in the direction of one yet another, Russia and China are not precisely sturdy acquaintances and The U.S. has sturdy kinfolk with india. however if China truly needed to step into the conflict, all they could ought to realize this as to defeat the U.S. is to assert that they choose their money back. this could bankrupt the U.S. government and you may see loafs of bread that should value a pair thousand money the two way the prospect of open conflict is terrifying for the two aspects and can't ensue, basically yet another chilly conflict.

My husband was having breakfast not too long ago when he overheard a conversation behind him between two deputy sheriffs. One of them said that he has a good friend in the FBI and he said his friend told him that there was going to be a World War soon and it would be on United States soil. He said it was over Israel. That's all he could hear
