recently i asked the question about it's truthfulnes, regarding bible, even one person while answering somebody's question has mentioned that its not a date its a code, can anybody [especially christians] tell what exactly is it? and if it's a date than of which year, that must be also mentioned in the bible, and if it is not how the christians are belivieng in it [if they are practical]?

666 is actually misinterpreted. Then number should technically be 6066, But that is splitting hairs.

666 is an example of numberology. Somebody somewhere thought to give letters a numberic value and then add those numbers up in a special code. That code, or rather the numberic value, the sum, is what you have referenced.

In the bible, I can not remember which Book and Verse, but there is a sentence describing the antichrist, and that this number was the "Mark of the Beast". In otherwords this number would _foresee_ the Beast or Antichrist, because the antichrist's name would equal this number by numberology standards.

Interesting enough, Hitler's full name fills this criteria as well as other famous figures of civilization's past.

First of all; we have to know the opposite of it.
The Seal of God is in the 4th Commandment in Exodus 20:8-11; references are John 4:22-24 and Rev.14:7.

If we know the SEAL is the 7th day sabbath Saturday (EXOD.20:8-11); then rejecting it would be the MARK.

The Mark of the beast is 666! To accept the beast's mark is to not accept God's Holy Sabbath Day Saturday as Working on the Sabbath.(reference Deut.7:8)

ACTUALLY THE MARK OF THE BEAST IS WHAT PEOPLE DON'T UNDERSTAND! IT'S VERY SIMPLE REALLY; YOU HAVE TO DO THE OPPOSITE OF IT.
THE OPPOSITE OF THE MARK IS THE "SEAL OF GOD" WHICH IS IN THE 4TH COMMANDMENT(EXOD.20:8-11; REV.14:7). BUT IF YOU DON'T KEEP HIS DAY(MARK) AND FOLLOW THE CATHOLIC CHURCH(IMAGE); HE WILL GIVE YOU THIS(REV.14:9-11).

Rev.13:16 "And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive the mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads."
