yes one day it surely will we just dont know when. yes there is a god. just before my grandma died she saw god then she passed away. she said jesus was here to take her home, then she was gone. a few years ago i tried to kill myself and the god stopped me. so i can say 100% without a doubt yes there is a god and he loves me and you and everyone in this world.
and yes the devil is real too just like heaven and hell.
i drove to wis for my aunts funeral, when i got back 4 hours later you will never guess who appeared in my living room? my dead aunt, at first i saw her but i didnt say anything cause i didnt wanna scare my daughter, but then all of a sudden my daughter blurted out that she could see her. so i really knew she was standing there. it was the most amazing thing ive seen. so i know there is an afterlife for sure. i dont believe we were created just to live here on earth, i know we still live on after our human bodies have died.

The truth is, no-one knows nor could they possibly know.
The scientific reasons are the more plausible, but they are trying to predict something that is still millions of years away. Think how often they get the weather forecast wrong for tomorrow. They are guessing, or estimating at best. The end of the human race will more probably occur much before the end of the world, through natural or man made disaster.
From a religious angle, Armageddon for instance was meant to have happened in something like 1974, then 1978, then 1985 etc. It is a mute point anyway, if they ever get it right, no-one will be around to care.
Bear in mind this though, some believe the end of the world happened before our lifetime and we are now living in our hell.

Yes, the world as we know it will end. But not in the way that a lot of people think.
When Jesus (God) came to earth, He lived a perfect life for us so that he could die in our place. All of mankind are sinners, and the Bible says that the only way we could be saved from hell was through a perfect sacrifice, and Jesus was that sacrifice for us, the wonderful thing about it though was Jesus raised back to life and conquered death!
Jesus said when he ascended into heaven, that He will come again. And when that time comes, I guess you can say then that the world is ending. :-)
In the Bible the book of Matthew chapter 24 verse 35, God says, "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away." For Christians we have a peace that God's promise to us, that we will live eternally with Him in heaven, will be kept.
If you read the Bible, The Old Testament is before Christ came to this earth, and about the people that were looking forward to his first coming. The New Testament starts when Jesus came into the world to die for us, and then goes on with many books of the Bible showing us how to become a Christian and live for Him.
Please, if you really are concerned about the end of the world, read the Bible, it is the one book that will prepare you for it. You may want to start in the New Testament though, maybe in the book of John.
I hope this helps. There is a lot that can be said, and it is hard for me to know what will help you the most with the question you have.

ON THE END OF THE WORLD
"Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom. " -- Matthew 16:28
"Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. " -- Luke 21:32-33
"And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light." -- Romans 13:11-12
"Be ye also patient; establish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh." -- James 5:8
"Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time." -- 1 John 2:18
"But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer." -- 1 Peter 4:7
These words were written between 1800 and 1900 years ago and were meant to warn and prepare the first Christians for the immediate end of the world. Some words are those supposedly straight out of the mouth of the "Son of God." The world did not end 1800 or 1900 years ago. All that generation passed away without any of the things foretold coming to pass. No amount of prayer brought it about; nor ever so much patience and belief and sober living. The world went on, as usual, indifferent to the spoutings of yet another batch of doomsday prophets with visions of messiahs dancing in their deluded brains. The world, by surviving, makes the above passages contradictions.

ok, let me explain-
1. one thing is for sure, the only thing that does not change is change itself, so if something can change it could be and would be for worse. therefore the question is not 'whether the world will end or not', it is 'when will it end?'. so the world will end, whether the religions claim it or not.
2. We do not know for sure whether god exists or not but the day humans would find the secrets of the universe and take control of life, he would soon start playing god. he would undoubtedly would belittle the existence of the higher realm because he would think he is the one. But, god and the devil exists in each one of us in various amounts, we have to find it in ourselves. hell and heaven is right here.
3. Science was created to quench the insatiable thirst of the humans to be better and more in control of the surroundings therefore a scientic point of view would be very narrow, as narrow as a religious point of view.
If you wanna discuss these issues come in contact with me i know a lot more...

just look around you. Science cannot explain it all. it is more likely that a supreme being create it all, rather than it just came together on its own. Jesus will come again! I would not want to face that alone. Having god on your side will only benefit you. I am not a religious freak, as some would say. i dont go around preaching to people unless they ask first. But, haven't you ever had a time in your life when something became apparent, and you were blind to it for so long. and when you realized this thing, you were like, wow i cant believe i did not see this before. it was right in front of my eyes! Finding Jesus is like that. many of us have found him, and sadly many have not. but if you dont make a decision soon, you may spend an eternity without him, and that will truly be horrible. i dont know how long it will be till he comes again, but i do know that he will come again. if you think life sucks here sometimes, and jesus is in our hearts, and touches our lives everyday, imagine how horrible it will be to spend an eternity separated from him. read the bible, pray to god, and let him talk to your heart, and make a decision on your own. dont' let others sway you. listen to your heart! good luck, and god bless!

When I see the sun expanded to Red Giant status. However, that's unlikely to happen for a couple of reasons. 1. It's not scheduled for another seven-and-a-half billion years, and I'm probably going to be dead by then. ;) 2. Way before that happens, the earth will be barren...or nearly barren...of all life anyway, so everybody is probably going to be dead by then. If life becomes extinct (and it will), that won't be the end of the planet. It'll just become another pointless chunk of rock orbiting a dying sun.

"Look at the dream visions of hell and chaos that appear in your subjective world. Look at the news today, buy a magazine today, and you will see a picture of the world in chaos, a world in which the Divine is not the universally acknowledged Principle of existence. Clearly, our world is not being transformed into a pattern of Divine laws! The men who function as leaders in the world today do not know how to Enlighten anybody. None of them is Awake as the Divine Conscious Being. None is an Enlightened man. Our world must be transformed into a culture in which every individual being is aligned to God and, therefore, likewise all the functions of human beings, including world order and politics. The Law of Divine Association must be fulfilled first, and than all the laws of action, cause and effect, association, or relationship may be ordered on the basis of that Divine Association.
But where is the Divine Being, apart from the beings somehow acknowledged in our religious sentiment? Where is the Spiritual Master who can liberate us from the words, the language, the traditions, the memories, the chaos of piecemeal religion? The Bhagavad Gita says that "whenever the paths of life are corrupt, and whenever the Law of Association with God has been forgotten, I come." The Divine Consciousness appears in the form of the Spiritual Master who accomplishes the righteous realignment of the Earth and all humanity with God.
My birth and the creation of this Communion are instruments of this same process, which has also been generated in times past. The Divine is always doing this kind of work in all the moments of history. The Revelation of God to Man is a process that goes on and on and on. Ultimately, you see, its function is to realign the entire world of Man to God, but the process will not come to an end just because some sort of sacred order has been established on Earth. Everything that exists in all the universes is being brought into alignment with God. The transforming process is a struggle, and until it is ultimately accomplished, the experience of beings is chaotic. Men and women may come to the point of yearning for the Divine Principle, but until the Divine Principle is fully established everywhere, we will not see an order of life based on the salvation of all beings.
Every human being must be made sensitive to the chaos in which he or she is living at the present time. People are tormented and confused, and most people can acknowledge the confusion of their lives. To such people, who are therefore sensitive to the quality of ordinary experience, the message of the Way that I Teach, the message of this Communion, is salvatory and liberating. But people who have not also coincidentally been made sensitive to the hellish chaos of egoic experience cannot respond to the saving message of this Teaching. We cannot just go into the world with a smiling, middle-class message that you can be consoled by mere belief. Our Communion must establish in people a feeling that the usual life is suffering. On the basis of that realization, men and women can respond to what is liberating."

It is most definately coming to an end. I know there are a lot of choices of religions and spirituality today, however there is only one truth and that is Jesus Christ rose from the dead and is coming back one day. When this happens the earth will pass on as stated in the book of Revelation.
